To see an honest portrayal of a family attempting this just made me feel like I have no excuse for my frequent pettiness and complaining.

I haven't read the book but heard at the time about Steven Curtis Chapman's family tragedy. It is such a sad story - to lose a young daughter in such a tragic accident, we really prayed for his family at that time.
I will have to put that book on my list to read.
